Former colleagues back in the foundry

Anyone who spent part of their life in the foundry will always be welcome here. Former colleagues toured today's production, revisited old chronicles and found familiar faces in archive photos.

We invited former colleagues to see the foundry as it is today. They walked through the halls where they once worked at the machines and ended the afternoon looking through chronicles in the canteen.

We share stories from Draxton's history. We welcomed Dušan Malář senior, the former director of Feramo Metallum International and a key figure in this foundry's technological transformation in the 1960s, when the DISAMATIC lines were installed.

The meeting brought together 18 former colleagues, including Mr Jašek (94), the former head of technology. They spent a moving day touring the foundry, talking and sharing memories across generations.
